Anyone else think the blue looks a lot darker on this years jumper?

It seems the trend in recent years for the blue to get darker, it used to be Royal Blue, now its a dark Navy Blue.

Personally i dont like it.

I think you'll find that the blue is closer to the traditional Navy blue of the 50's & 60's. The royal blue was introduced for colour TV in the 70's & I for one don't miss it, even though it didn't look too bad.

Not sure about it getting darker, but dark blue looks a LOT better than the light blue of say, the 80s I think it was.

There was a bit of a jumper clash on Sunday i thought.

Not that could be used as an excuse.

I'd love to see the Royal Blue 70's jumper be used for heritage round.
