Sorry Macca but I have to say that I think Rammstein are absolute crap!! First, they are right wing sympathisers (this from a German friend of mine, heavily involved in the music industry over there)and secondly, after watching them at the big day out, I find them incredibly boring. Hey, each to their own though, I just like to disagree sometimes

Macca.. I saw them at the Melbourne BDO this year, and they went off!!!! But I am not really familiar with their albums or history. Any recommendations?

Ok...there first cd is called Herzeleid. It has a sunflower and a picture of the band onthe front. That is the best cd...its awesome. There other cd is called Sehnsucht, probably the more famous one , that put them into stardom, with Du Hast and Buch Dich.
They have a live album called Live Aus Berlin, which is excellent..its a double cd and has multimedia stuff. There is also an adjoining video of the live cd, which is a bloody awesome video...professionaly made, its wicked.
Now there is Mutter which is better than Sehnsucht but nhot as good as herzeleid.

words cant desrcibe how beautiful it is....

I've got the three Rammstein albums and have enjoyed listening to all them, especially Seinsucht, which is a fantastic album. Their new is also very good, but Henry Rollins released his new spoken word CD yesterday, and I've all but forgotten Rammstein exist. Rollins is the FUNNIEST guy going round, and his ROLLINS IN THE WRY CD is one of his funniest albums yet. Have a listen, and check him out when he tours later this month.

Rammstein's ballad "Catch yers next time" was played in an impromptu performance at the Melbourne Museum on Sunday just gone. The band went by a sneaky nom de plume of 'The Gyuto Monks'.
