Perhaps these jumpers may also be used in the NAB Cup next season? If you consider that the sponsors logos are in the normal place for a regular AFL jumper.

I doubt they'd debut the new jumpers in the pre-season so I'd imagine we'd wear these or the white away.

Seriously, although I loved the character of the old logo, the new one looks a million times better on merchandise.

Maybe even a billion times better. No exaggeration.

I really think we're going to sell a lot more merchandise once everyone is used to the new look. It's so much sexier than the old stuff.

agree, i went especially in to shop before I left Aus to try and by a cap to wear on my holiday because I thought finally here is something I can wear without feeling like an idiot. A plain dark purple cap with a simple logo. I always felt like I was wearing a christmas tree on my head with the my old cap.

The membership application forms have a special deal where you can buy one for a discounted price, so they do exist (for members anyway).

Handed my voucher in a couple of weeks ago for the new hat and scarf but haven't received them yet. My guess is that they don't exist yet. Hope they arrive soon, I really dig the logo.

went to the team store a couple of weeks ago and the guys there reckon the new gear will come end of november, am going that way again tomorrow to renew my membership and will check it out again, need to gear myself up and buy the old man some new merch, if there is any of the new stuff there i will let you all know.

Each to their own, but I wear my Freo gear with pride, honour and with not a small amount of defiance against all those who have rubbished and ridiculed our club.

All them who say "Dorkers" or "Wanchors" or "Purple ****s" etc have made me love and embrace our club and colours even more.

You'd not be refereing to the quality of the product but the product itself then. That is sad. Someone who liked nothing about our Club yet saw themselves as a supporter.

Well with our nice new suitable merchandise you can start saving money that would otherwise be spent on therapy.

Just because you're a supporter doesn't mean you have to love everything about our club. Just like if you love a girl it doesn't mean you have to love every haircut she gets or all the clothes that she wears.

Especially for a new club like ours that was still finding its identity. What makes our initial colours chosen by a marketing panel more meaningful than our new simplified colours also chosen by a marketing panel?

Especially since the latter decision was obviously made knowing that most supporters prefer merchandise that is purple and white. Is that somehow less meaningful than some boardroom in 1994 telling us we should love wearing purple, red, green and white merchandise before they even knew who their supporter base was?
