The Fremantle Football Club will today launch its new logo and new home and clash guernseys for season 2011.

Fremantle president Steve Harris said that the launch of the club’s new logo and home and clash jumpers coincided with a new arrangement with Levi Strauss & Co that allows the club to refer to itself as the “Fremantle Dockers” and the “Fremantle Dockers Football Club” as well as use the new brand elements under licence.

Imo it looks good. I like purple, and its a bit unique.

Don't mind the jumpers, they will probably grow on me. Not as good as the purple haze/white away combo though.

New logo sucks donkeys balls. Too simplistic - very amateurish looking.

I like how we get to use Dockers officially now. Well done to our front office staff for getting that done. Old Dockers would just roll over, now we're starting to bitchslap some ass.

Yeah font for DOCKERS could've been a bit more creative. But I guess they are going for the "simplified" look.

I honestly do not mind, it'll grow on us. I still think we have the best colours in the league regardless of why people think purple is panzy. This is so much better than when WCE changed their colours to ochre LOL.

I do like the all purple aproach - means every game will be a sea of purple (well give it a few years anyway - at least until everyone can get new gear)

They had the purple 3 stripe jumpers at the show for $50 which was alright if anyone is interested

Surely they can't use the excuse of needing to take the anchor off the jumpers if they've got the anchor and Dockers name together on the logo.

Not convinced - i don't think i'll be shelling out for one of those and stick to my ol' haze strip. I prefer the warfie on the logo too.

When you compare it to Melbourne's new logo it makes our new one look like a preschooler designed it.. Blindfolded.

I would think the logo change makes it look MORE like Levi's logo than it did before..

Would've though Ballas or Fyfe may have featured.

Ibbo must be a keeper.... no Brisvegas trade for him perhaps?

Yeah. Most of the players mention that Ibbo is a very good leader.
