This is the exact thought I had. Apparently Chris Judd is supposed to be shadowing our players 24/7 to demonstrate he is a good leader, yet Jono Brown is a great leader regardless of whether Fev, Albert Proud, an unnamed group of players are getting themselves into strife.

Brown demonstrated his leadership by turning up pissed to the 2009 AA awards. Judd demonstrated his leadership by cleverly planning his wedding for New Year's Eve, ensuring many of his teammates would be celebrating in a controlled environment. Give me Judd over Brown any day of the week.

There's no question Fev's got more out of control since he moved up there.

Lets look at some KPI's since he left....

1. Off-field incident count/year: Increased (3 fold)
2. Fitness levels: Decreased
3. Weight: Increased
4. Goal Output: Decreased 90 goals per year to under 50
5: Wage: Increased

We mostly managed to keep a fragile talent just under control with our superior culture and higher standards. Once those constraints went, it blew up.

Anyway, Fev should be fine. His manager locked the Lions into a huge contract so he can pretty much do what he wants. Now I see why Greg Swan was so tough with Fev's contract negotiations. No doubt we included a heap of performance criteria and behavioral clauses that helped.

You've got to be shitting me. I'm personally way more excited with Lucas and Hendo than 3 and 4. They were No 1's and expected to perform, these 2 gifts from heaven could be anything and we have absolutely no right to even have them on our list.
