On SEN this morning:

Walker had surgery this morning. 4-6 weeks..back running in a fortnight. Pretty good result as they feared initially another shoulder reco.

Waite - very good on the weekend..expected to come in this week along with possibly Bower.

Gibbs - "Rest assured Carlton supporters, Bryce is not going anywhere, we're in the final stages of completing a new deal"

Gave kudos to Wayne Hughes..especially with his mature age rookie recruits: Jamison, White, Garlett, Armfield & co.

Just heard Swann on SEN & that put a smile on my face when he mentioned that Gibbs is going nowhere. :thumbsu:

Hurry up Swannie & get his signiature on a contract.

He actually likened the situation to Geelong when always asked last year on numerous occassions about Ottens & Neil Balme's answer was repetitively - "he is 2 weeks away" :p

All excellent news..especially re Gibbs and Walker ..thanks for the low down. :thumbsu:

:D

I'm smiling. Never thought I would after yet another injury to Walker but such a relieve it isn't another shoulder and really shouldn't hinder him too much, given he'll be running in a fortnight.

Exactly blues I am smiling as well as it definitely is good news that it wasn't another shoulder injury which would have been devastating for Walker.

Can't wait to see Walker back in 6 weeks time.

He may come back after the split round.

We'll take that any day, after initially fearing you know what.

Excellent news.

Triple Excellent news :)

Now why on earth would he do that?

Some of us here will only truly take aboard Hughes when he is gone.
How does that saying go?

Swan has said this exact same thing every time he has been on. 3 months ago Bryce was only a couple of weeks away from signing.

This delay is killing me. :(

is there a podcast on SEN of Swann's interview?

I've looked on their site but I have been unable to find anything.....
