Point I was trying to make is, the Pies were already up 5 goals to 1 when Cox took over. It's a furphy that he won it single handedly. In addition, had Richmond won the flag in 2018, there's no certainty the group would have had the motivation to rise again in 2019 & 20. We will never know.
