May well develop into an on field leader but just doesn’t have the media savvy for a more formal role.

I think that the obvious candidate is Taylor Adams who was easily our most consistent and best player during the 2018 grand final by the way. He was the only bloke who was picking the rest of our players off the canvas that day and showing the boys what to do except for De Goey.

Sadly our woeful recruiting from 2011 - 2013 is coming back to bite us badly now as our side lacks leadership from anyone below 27 bar Adams and Maynard.

I would agree,

JDG might make a great leader but I fear the direction may be a little loose and not sure the destination appropriate.

There has been some talk that Brodie may not want the job, though Moore openly coveted as a youngster coming to the club. As has been stated above, his body is temperamental and he is missing tomorrow.
