Next Gen Games You're Looking Forward To in 2014?

After a fairly average round of launch titles, I was wondering what are some of the PS4/XB1 games you are looking forward to in 2014 (or later I guess), and why?


I'm usually pretty up-to-date with what's coming out, but with the Next Gen titles, I've been fairly lazy in my research. Obviously I'm looking forward to things like Watch Dogs and The Elder Scrolls Online, but I'm really hoping for great things from The Witcher 3 and Destiny in particular.

I haven't decided what platform I want The Witcher III, Dragon Age Inquisition and The Elder Scrolls Online on - probably PC.

I'll get UFC too if it gets good reviews. Amped for it but feel it could go either way.

I realize that there are other games coming (e.g. the new Star Wars Battlefront) but those are the ones I want that are available for preorder (on Amazon mostly).

Of those I'm most amped for InFamous Second Son, Watch Dogs, The Order: 1886, MLB 14 The Show, Uncharted and Titanfall.

I anticipate that several of those will be "ooh, that sucks, but it got some hype so I'll flog it off and recoup most of my money." Some of them may not even be released in 2014.

I don't know if all these games ill actually come out in 2014...but I'm genuinely interested in all these games, I could see myself buying them all.

I only have an X1, so most of the multi-plat games will just be listed on that.
I might upgrade my PC as well, so some games might be on there.

When I preordered the prices were less than what I believe that they will be. They had (have) a preorder guaranteed price thing too - meaning that if someone lowers the price they'll match it but they wont increase it. You also do not pay anything upfront (w/ Amazon) only when the game is ready for shipping (day or so before release). You can also, obviously, cancel your preorders. For those games that do not have a late review hold the early reviews will give me enough time to know whether or not I need to cancel them. If they do then I'll suck it up (if they suck) and buy it and flog it off somewhere.

As for the bonuses... .Apart from the pricing, no, not really. However, as I can cancel them if they come out elsewhere (e.g. Limited or Collector's Editions) I can always just cancel and upgrade.

As far as NBA 2k5 goes.... I hear that Seattle has a pretty solid roster in that game. Some real killer 3-pt shooters.

I haven't seen any gameplay yet but that doesn't sound good, the potential for the game is there.

Titanfall looks like it will be that kind of game. The misses just informed me she has booked a holiday in the first week if April so I'll grab a xb1 and Titanfall after that.

Watch Dogs, Dying Light, Titanfall, Destiny and The Order: 1886 are the main games I'm excited for next year. ESPECIALLY Titanfall. That game looks incredible.

The only game I'm looking forward to is Watch Dogs. I think it was at E3 live stream that I saw the trailers of it, and man is it a unique new game style. It really does look promising.

Tom Clancy's Patriots (following on from Rainbow 6 Vegas 2) was meant to be released on the 360, however pre-orders got removed and so far no more news. I assume it was because of the news of the next gen consoles. I really do hope it gets released sometime soon on the next gen. R6V & R6V2 are my favourite games.
