Fourth one-dayer

Ponting is finally doing decently at the crease in this fourth ODI, although the bottom line has to be his club's two victories and a tie in the first three games.

Gilchrist just got out to leave Australia at 2-82. He's not on a roll like he was in the Test series ...

Last night's game was a good victory by the Aussies to go 3-0 up after 4 games and ensure that we can't be beaten in this one-day series... a great start for Ricky Ponting as captain!! :):)

Ricky Ponting played really well for his run a ball 129 and along with Darren Lehmann put the game well and truely beyond South Africa. I must admit though, I dont know who was more happy when Jacques Kallis hit the ball straight back to the bowler, Darren Lehmann or SeinDude.... I was very excited with that one!! ;);)

Brett Lee also bowled well I thought after being smacked for 26 off his first 3 overs. The yorker he bowled to Mark Boucher first ball was sensational!! :):):)

Looking forward to the next one-dayer in Durban (day/night) on Wednesday.

Go Aussies!! :)

I can't see South Africa beating the Aussies when it matters in my lifetime as they are so mentally scarred (particularly their openers). How bad is the injury from Kluesner as they badly need him back.

SeinDude, stop using my catch phrase. It was a good win by the Aussies. Interesting to hear Pollock say that the South Africans are affected mentally by the aussies. Just ask Daryl Cullinan re Shane Warne?

This might sound stupid but why do south africa chop and change their squad every match for?

It doesnt give any of the players a real chance to settle in and start performing.

Wouldnt they just be better off deciding on a team, telling them they have a half dozen games to perform and then if they dont cut out the dead wood in the same fashion as Australia have. They could then blood their new faces and have them playing together as a team for the next 12 months so that they are a strong unit come the World Cup.
