These next three games are going to be so important to the rest of our season. Win all three and we are sitting possibly as high as 5th. I think it's possible.
Geelong at Skilled - Always a tough ground to win at especially with the Cats in current form but we seem to have either great games or lousy games against the Cats. They can be as inconsistent as us.
Saints at Subi - Definately can win this one. I think the Saints are a bit shaky. Again always something happening between these two teams.
Collingwood at the G - I haven't seen anything from the Pies that would suggest we can't win that one.

Alot of if's I know, what do you think? Give me hope!

I'm with ya !! But, 1 week at a time's probably a good thing to consider at this point. Lets beat GEEEEEEELLLLOOOONG first.

Baaahhhh! One week at a time is for coaches and players. Im actually visualising Tazz taking a hang over Hunter and goalling in the Grand Final to win it by 6 points.
What can I say, slow day at work!:p

It will be a huge victory if we can beat Geelong in Geelong with showers forecast.

Win the next 3 and we are still a chance to finish top four.

Not to make you feel better but out of confidence, I bet a bloke at work $100 that we would win the next three. Colloingwood beat weary Adelaide after the Pies had a loooong break, their other opponents were not challenging. Geelong got the Eagles at the right time and without key players, and the Cats previous wins weren't against powerful opponents and the Saints, well, theey're still struggling with a new playing style tha destroys their fast footed, first instinct playing style of the past.

See you in three weeks, $100 richer.

Well, I put $100 on us @ Centrebet @ $3.15. Now if the stars align, i will double that bet against the Sainters. We are way over the odds at $3.15.

while im not sure we can win all 3 i think we do need to get a run of wins going maybe not the 9 we had last year but a 3 or 4 weeks run would be sensational. Also is it just me or does it always bloddy rain when we play at skilled

Lived a good spit from Kardinia Park, and it rains a hell of a lot in Geeeeelong. Not in recent years mind you. That area has had drought pretty bad. But when I was there the Barwon flooding was an annual event, not a tactic used weekly in football games. And the wind is bitter.

It didn't rain when we won there a couple of years ago, but I reckon it was 2003 or 2004 when we played there in shocking conditions and kicked 4 goals for the game.

I reckon you are wearing your purple coloured glasses. I'm not saying that we have no chance, but against an inform team with showers forecast $3.15 is about right IMO. Geelong at half time/full time @ $1.67 would be extremely appealing to neutrals and cats fans.

Love nothing better than for us to win all 3.

However...

We will be 1-2 over the next 3 weeks. Win coming against St.Kilda

Geelong just beat the Eagles by 39 pts.
We just squeaked by the Hawks at home.

Win > Geelong

St Kilda struggles at Subiaco.

Win > Fremantle

Pies are always up at the G, and being Friday Night Lights we stay in the shadows.

Win > Collingwood

Bet the $100 with a quick slap of a handshake after a heated discussion, but am still confident.

What's more, I spent $8,500 for a Grand Final package for my Eagles supporting-wife and I, and, I'll give you the big tip, it wasn't to sit next to her and watch the Eagles play some other team while she screams for the blue and yellow.

And, thanks for the advice, I'm off to the TAB tomorrow.

You must forgive me for not taking your doomsaying as gospel Malpaso.

You were dead certain we would not make the finals last year...

and you have already ruled out any resurgence this year...

Your credibility as a good judge of Freo is going the way of the dodo I'm afraid. Of course you are entilted to your predictions, but I think you may find yourself 0-3 come seasons end. Thats my hot tip :)

i've tipped freo correctly over the last 4 games.

I picked freo to lose against geelong then win the next four.

Need to win the next 3 at least to have Premiership aspirations. That's the only thing I could really give a crap about

??? So maybe they should just make the home and away 9 rounds? Then finals. Seeing as we have no hope.

What will happen for the rest of the year is quite a few teams will have all manner of ups and downs. As well as form slumps and injuries, some of them will invent brand new ways to effect their chances of going anywhere. Just take a look at half the Eagles squad if you want an example of new ways to shoot yourself in the foot. Or how about Pickett not showing up for the game after going on a bender the night before. Or what about some knucklehead hitting a bouncer.

The other thing that will happen is that some teams who have had a heap of players suspended for things that other teams' players don't even get cited for, will get some players back, begin playing to the plan, find form, and make a pretty good fist of finals action.

Seeing as I'm glad to be proven wrong in all those predictions, your post really doesnt mean jack to me :)

You've obviously gone to the trouble to look these up though as they must have something to do with the next 3 weeks of footy for Fremantle?

Got all your predictions right have you?

I don't often make stupid declarations about something I have absolutely no control over, and I never "declare" a game of AFL footy as un-winable or un-losable.

Your "predictions" stand out in my mind not only because they are usually wrong, but due the fact that they are not presented as predictions, but rather as statements of fact.

You don't say "I don't think we will make the finals...", you say "We won't make the finals..". You often exlude the possibility of winning. Something that strikes me as remarkably stupid.
