what about HAMPO , id like to see him play atleast 12 games nex year.. but i agree with most of you about Browne , the guy can play , you dont need height when you have poise, skill and courage .. I dont think iv ever been this excited about an upcoming season ...Go BLUES..

My thoughts exactly ODN :D

On top of his defensive work and accurate field kicking, he's really impressed with his work at ground level (had some awesome pickups), and the way he takes the game on, turns small mids inside out...he's going to become a major part of our premiership spine, and he'll definitely be the bolter of 2009 (not quite starting 22 at the beginning of the season but one of the first selected by the end).

I also wouldn't be surprised to see Ratts trial him at CHF over the course of the year.

Also agree with Krab and PPG a fit Banno was easily starting 22 in 2008 :thumbsu: welcome on board the Bannowagon :)

ODN? I know he is a significant presence on this board, but I didn't realise he is on your mind even when not posting.

Jake Edwards.

A similar type of player to Anthony who kicked 25 goals after being an unknown at the start of the year.

I watched the Richmond game the other night and noticed Edwards catching up to Deledio who already had a head start on him.

He also showed his pace when he ran on to a ball against the Tigers to get a cheap goal.

I would like to see Edwards used in a Brad Pearce role leading out of the pocket.

But it's hard to see anyone succeeding playing that position when we always kick it to Fev on a hard lead.

The AFL are considering a change to the rules to allow rookies to play at any time during the H & A season, so Aaron Joseph is my wildcard.

Will be delisted end of 2009 along with Hartlett.

I must have just read one too many posts of yours worrying that posters weren't even aware of your existence. Just doing my bit to substantiate the concern and thereby stave off the inevitable men in white coats ;)

I hope it is Hartlett but I think it will be Browne - like most people.

Jammo?? Anyone?
Not so much a bolter in that I think he showed his ability from match 1 last year and didn't waver. Has been a gem fromt he outset.

Bower looked a little lost at times last year and his disposal was very hit and miss.

His game really started to come together this year and he took a massive step IMO.......Jammo was already there.:thumbsu:

I'd like to see young M Kreuzer go absolutely troppo and just charge around dominating games like he did in the u/18s.

He showed glimpses of having the ability to totally own games last year (eg 3 in a qtr to sink the wharfies in adelaide), so it's possible. Don't tell me it isn't.

45+ goals from the K man in 09. :thumbsu:
