how you going mate??
Have a look mate. Already posted my thoughts on the game.

As for the bench incident. I thought I had seen that but didn't believe it. That's a disgrace. A very dirty day for Watsy.
Anyone on here high up at Watsy want to comment or elaborate on what actions will be taken? As I supporter I am disgusted and not Suprised the team is struggling with this happening on the bench.
Who was the runner? You would hope not an injuried player and was just a dust up between the coach and one of his mates.

It was a great day to be a West player/supporter. We have known all year that we are better than how we have been playing and to come from behind twice and get the win is a credit to all the boys who never gave in...

As for the incident on the bench, I didn't see it but heard that the coach and runner came to blows on sideline... Not a good sign and something the players and supporters don't want to see...

West is Best!

Congrats Westhawks. West in the end just wanted it more I think and bad kicking is bad football and will not win games. 1g 5b in the last q just isn't good enough. A couple of new additions who can play a bit were handy for you. I hate to say it but I saw a couple of players duck their heads in a contest which is not good enough and they need to have a good long hard look at themselves. They just let down their teammates who are giving everything.

As for the incident on the bench I did not see it only heard about it later on in the evening. This is something we don't want to see and I think it is now in the hands of the committee.

#21 for Watsonia was scared of his own shadow. Three times I seen him duck his head or pull out from a contest. Let him know all about it dont worry about that.

Rapt with Mernda's response after their goalless second half last week, though I was really nervous when Parkside kicked the first goal of the second half. Luckily I had nothing to worry about.

It was a complete team effort which I was impressed with, we get a break but I don't agree with the week's rest especially before we play Panton Hill up there. Would rather play this week and get some more footy into the boys.

Its easy to kick a club in the guts when they are down over a keyboard.

Something clearly needed to be fixed down Watsonia away.

DeViouS,
Have you heard how the meeting went, can anyone give us any info.

Coach and club have parted ways. Dean McCluskey will take on the role as senior and U19's coach. Log onto Watsonia football club Facebook page for a more detailed write up.
Action to be taken against the runner involved in Saturday stouch as well. I have no idea what action will be taken

I am not affiliated with the Watsy footy club, just have alot of mates down there so im a supporter of them n dont appreciated the keyboard warriors on here kicking them while they are down.
but as talkinfooy replied, this is from their website.

As you can see the matter has been dealt with. All at Watsy are now looking forward, and hoping to play some good footy to finish the year off.

Okay, so here are my tips for this week:

Panton Hill vs St Mary's - Coming off a strong win last week, the lower Burra boys will be confident of knocking off the premiership favourites, but sure that The Doc will have the Redbacks all primed after the week off.
Reservoir vs West Heidelberg - The Mustangs will be looking to redeem themselves after their struggles last week and will find the Hawks a bit more difficult after their breakthru win last week.
Mernda - Bye. - Probably would have liked to have played this week and kept the good form going after last week.
Parkside - Bye. - A good time fr the Devils to regig their game plan if they want to displace one of the top four.
Watsonia - Bye. - Two bye-weeks in three weeks isn't great, but gives the Saints time to regroup after the mid-week dramas.

Toss of the coin, though hopefully it lands on Mernda's side. We were outplayed last time and we'll have a huge crack this weekend, I'm sure.
I think we may go into this game a lot better than last time. We have a good ruckman and forward structure. Millsy will be back, Cams firing, Aqua has put in a couple of good games. If P/H are carrying injuries, Mernda will do well.

Looking forward this one on Saturday and the past players function!

Based on the facts that since they last met, neither have lost a match!
Panton Hill have also added Abe Williams, but will possibly be without Kreymborg, Grimshaw, Thorn, Z.Williams, Pratt for this match?
Mernda will have added Aqualina & don't really seem to be losing anyone, that 12 point margin looks to be reduced to an even money bet! However the fact that Mernda have not played at Cracknell for a number of years will sway me towards the Redbacks.

Lets hope for some good weather & some even better footy!

Aqua's been brilliant the last few games. Cannot believe how he's responded since coming in, he knows that it's a competitive environment up at Mernda.

Mernda wil beat Panton Hill, but will be close only because of the small ground, come finals, watch Mernda go, well done to Aqua a pity a few more of the midfielders don't take a leaf out of his book and work hard to get into the ones, sulking or thinking you have the right to be in won't get you back in.
StMarys will pump Parkside, sad to see such a great Club in this state.
Resa to beat Watsy, good luck to Dean a terrfic bloke and should get all the respect from the players.
