How was the umpiring ?

Quick on the whistle to ball it up. Felt most of the 50/50s went the Stars way, so they can’t have any complaints.

All in all felt the umps were pretty good

You are right, its not relevant.

What infividual clubs do to celebrate players is up to them and why not celebrate someone from their juniors.

Gee you are grumpy old blokes. A guy plays 300 games with one club, sure both junior and senior, but in this day and age, where blokes chop and change clubs at will, an awesome achievement.

if it for the same club he's been at from a junior then the player has played 300 dames for the club, in this day and age that kind of Loyalty should be rewarded .Thats most likely why sm have a good retention rate from juniors to seniors may be other clubs need to have a look at how sm go about it

Who really cares what gets posted by clubs on social media? Clubs posting content looking for community engagement and connection to past, present and future players should never be criticised, if it bothers you. Either unfollow or get off your phone and go for a walk.

When you look at this year’s contenders, it’s difficult to see any club capable of matching it with Div 1. Sth Morang look to be the strongest club with two’s and thirds on top of ladder.

I can’t see any of the rest looking forward to the prospect.

Don’t think it will matter as Morang aren’t a premier club anymore so non premier plus 3 in 3 years is the same as being a premier senior player?

You make your own luck. They were in with a shot at winning when some undisciplined football in the third qtr saw 2 yellow cards in minutes, including Scooter. Momentum swung completely in Morang’s direction with 3-4 goals and that pretty much shaped the remainder of the game.

Must also say I don’t think it’s great that Macleod have an amphitheater of supporters surrounding their coaches box area. Some probably have been on the cans since end of thirds and there’s a lot of abuse and colourful language being directed at opposition and umpires that arrives from that area. When you hear the umpires being referred to as “f-ing dogs”, and the C word audible from the other side of the ground, it’s not a great look!
