This is what we need to do hear me out
1) instead of playing Nic in ruck play him mid like centre ruck rover rover
As a ruckman he uses all his energy to tap the ball jump and get the next ruck contest. As mid he will only be dedicated to get the ball. So he will have more energy
Why?
1) he is fast and provide cat like evasion skills. Great burst
2) he will solve out inside mid problems
3) he is big bodied will demolish the packs
4) he has the X factor in him. He can stand up in centre when needed.
5) who's going to tag him in centre bounce Another ruckman? Lol And around the ground? Put it simply they will have to force a ruckman to tag Nic. Or Nic gets easy marks around ground
6) if midfield player from opposition goes on Nic it will be a 204 cm ruckman vs a 182 mid. Imagine that 182 try to spoil Nic rofl.
7) he has some aerobic capacity from being a ruckman. It will be a semi smooth transition
8) he can chop out fwd
