A combination of both. Normally on the nice guy side with an ability for the other.

Not really a surprise to me that I get more numbers in the month after a breakup than I will for the months after that. And that would go along with the attitude change.

I'm somewhere in between, I have a tendency to go on a rampage about certain topics, and be easy going about others. I'm probably more on the nice guy mould though. Growing up with 3 sisters a mother and no father has made me have an affinity with women because I've lived with nothing but women.

Nice guy works much better than bad boy, as long as you don't make the mistake of thinking that "nice guy" really means "boring guy with no redeeming social qualities".

The whole "nice guys finish last" stereotype could more accurately be phrased as "being nice won't make up for being a total loser".

you are a wise man

Nice guy does not equal a bitch with no self-confidence.

No matter your style or persona, if you have confidence, it will carry you a long way.

Depends in what context.

If you're after a relationship or a fling with repeat action, being the nice guy will work out better. Generally, you'll get more tasteful participants, of a higher quality.

If you're just after a root, the "bad boy" will work out better. But you're right, the only real difference is the directness in the approach. Being a nice guy does not equal not having a crack.

I feel I'm a bit of both.
I can put the nice guy act on infront of parents, teachers and all that shizz, although when I get with mates, I'm normally a complete f****** idiot.

Female opinion here...

Bad boys win when your 22 but once you get to 26 you had better be dealing with nice guys or you're bound for trouble!

I have a nice guy in my life but I must say he's frustrating. He never seems to 'want' me or to go after me. I always have to call him, msg him to keep in touch or else we wouldnt speak often. He does this all the time and with others so I know it isn't me. Still its frustrating...

If this nice guy would make a little more effort then he'd be perfect!

Its sad :mad::(

Good to see he's not being clingy.

It often seems to be the other way.

I'm like the said above guy, clinginess is fail. There is no need to message and talk to each other all the bloody time, you see them when you see them.

"Nice guy syndrome" and the whole "friend zone" concept is what ugly, fat or boring guys use as a scapegoat for their inability to get laid. Friendzone is the path to happiness IMO.

Try and be a nice guy and get in as many friendzones as possible, if you are ****able you will be ****ed. If you are not ****able, it has nothing to do with the friend zone.

People can be arseholes and still have success, but only if they have the right attributes to compensate (racing car beds, 400 dollar shirts etc.). These are the real players that know that they don't even have to try for the girls to like him.

Not saying I am that guy, but this is the way I understand it.

I couldn't agree more. Nice guys are so much better than bad boys. Also on the topic of the "nice guy" stereotype you are bang on the money. I've known losers who act nice because they have nothing else going for them. They think they're nice but they are not.

Should be in the 'getting the woman of your desires' thread, as it's the best post on that topic, ever.

Anyways, nice guys generally win with decent chicks, but being a total pussy who lets somebody walk all over you - that isn't being a nice guy.

I had sex in a racing car bed at a party once.
I still one fo my greatest moments of win.

Exactly thats the ket to getting any women which is why many nice guys fall into the trap of thinking they are losers.

I am naturally a nice guy but flirtatious nature sort of eekes a bad boy persona too
