Despite still being the best player on the field, was pretty obvious Nick Was struggling with something yesterday. For the first time in a long time, didn’t run hard from contest to contest. Think most likely a cork.

WhatchatalkinboutWillis?

The dude ran his arse off all game. Even when he has his heel stepped on and lost his boot. Put it back on, hobbed to the next contest and then, BANG! away he went

He got pounded into the back early into the game. He was moved to full forward for a while. So yes he worked through it. Probably had some work on it at half time.

So much salt from oppo fans on social media posts about Nick’s game.

I believe I heard in Fly’s presser that it was the highest rated game of any player this year. Not a bad effort in those conditions!
I think by 3QT it was already the 6th or so highest for the year. Stupidly good player.

He & Nas would be some pairing…

this is the version of Naicos we need, the goal kicking mid
40 possessions are great, but when he can score goals himself, we look so much better. His class just elevates others around him
If he can average 30 plus ,1-2 goals a game for the rest of the year, it will take us a long way in September
Yep, and his ball use was back to his best. He was utterly destructive. Looked two classes above everyone else on the field.
