Nick's draft stocks are now nose-diving as early season performances at U18 level are forgotten without anything at the U18 championships to back them up and recruiting teams are subsequently seduced by shiny big bodied midfielders and KPP's who are playing games against mature-aged opposition interstate.

Lucky to be a top 10 pick at best, could even fall outside the top 20 selections. We just need to kidnap Callum Twomey for a few months and shove him in a basement somewhere with no internet or wifi / Telstra Air / mobile signal and our plans will be complete!!!

There still could be a U-19 Champs yet.

His Value might go up as he is 1 of a Very Few Prospects that could come straight in and make an Impact at AFL Level early next season

Are you being sarcastic in saying this? What does Collingwood care if Nick's draft stocks plummet? Just means that we won't have to give up as high a pick as we would otherwise, to match any bid. Surely we will take him with our first pick in the draft anyway?

I think at this point any chatter around Nick Daicos' draft value slipping has to be interpreted as humour at face value, as we all know he's going top 3 at worst at this point. Even beyond that you can't have missed the bit about kidnapping Twomey surely... ;)

Cal may influence phantom drafts, but not real drafts, so I'd feed him whilst he's in the dungeon.

I doubt it effects his development, I’m not worried and I’m sure the people plotting his course have his best interests at heart. The thing is more footy against senior bodies now that he’s a professional footballer was a no brainer, IMO.

Maybe they want to wrap him up in cotton wool and preserve his body a little given the disrupted year and lack of consistent footy.
