Happy to agree to disagree, particularly in light of our list cleanse. We've got a couple of highly promising kids onto the list and they'll get an additional 2 years to make their case ahead of anyone we might have gotten in 2022, or a year on anyone we might have traded for this year, whom by the way offer no greater chance of success other than some marginal statistical %'s.

Mine is fine.

Daicos just kicked a set shot 35-40m out on a slight angle courtesy of a high tackle (he definitely is good at drawing those!)

Goal from 35-40 out about a minute after rotating forward, hunted the crumb and drew a high free kick - got low rather than a shrug from what I could see although the stream quality isn't great. Hadn't wasted a touch in the middle prior, seems to have the Pendles skill of just putting it where he wants it.

But Hine and co may have felt that it was a great bet because there were kids they rated so highly in the 2020 draft that it was an opportunity to pick up.

It’s all personal opinion. You say it was a huge risk, but on their research and work they put into draftees, they felt it was a a great bet.

No right or wrong. They have the advantage of having done more work on drafts than any of us, and they have a strategy which we are unaware of, and this may be part of that.

Only 20 minutes in but gee he just seems to find space at will - something missing from the senior team at the moment. Even when he doesn't get used you can see him in the clear with his arms out providing an option.

At stoppages seems to be preferring to sit outside the congestion a bit and wait for the release, but crashes in when he sees the opportunity. Doesn't mind getting his hands dirty. Got a neat centre clearance just before the quarter time siren, similar style to his brother running a circle to create space and pick his option - kicked it to a contest at half forward to the advantage of a team mate but was halved by the oppo player.

Attended all centre bounces while in the middle, got the first clearance of the match and the last of the quarter.

I asked Jen last week for a player comparison, after a quarter and a bit my best comparison is actually Pendles, although a harder runner (rather than Pendles cruising style) and his evasion is more like his brother's running-circles technique rather than Pendles matrix. Better forward craft than Pendles too by the look of it, although I haven't seen him in a contested marking situation yet.

Who built the app? I assume Telstra because it is the greatest hunk of shit I’ve ever had on my phone. I can’t even get into the game let alone the stream.

*Playing style only based on a guy that’s good in traffic, finds the ball easily, is a ferocious runner and is good forward of centre.

OMG just set up a goal with a hard-running one-two from half back and pumping it to his teammate 20 metres out (spilled an easy mark but a goal crumbed), then went to full forward for the next bounce and outbodied his opponent from the clearance kickin, took the mark and open goal from 10 metres out.
