Pendlebury, Swan and Selwood as a midfield trio. Best midfield of all time?
It would have meant potentially missing out on 2010/11 Ben Reid though. It’s an interesting thought though.

Nathan Brown went after Reid.

And Selwood went before Reid. There’s every chance if we’d picked Selwood, someone else could have grabbed Reid before our next pick. Then we might have been stuck with a spud like Jack Reiwoldt 😬

The Saints took Armitage at 9, but I guess it’s possible they were enamoured with Reid and would have taken him if available, only pivoting to a midfielder when we took him 8th and before our next pick at 10...

... but bloody unlikely.

Hopefully Taylor Adams gets to Nicks level at some stage. Taylor should shadow Nick at training to get a feel of what it’s like to be fully elite. Imagine having 2 Nicky D’s!
Hopefully Nick learns what it's like to play alongside a man who plays with an elite heart the size of a horse that beats only for Collingwood because his father Peter was never obsessed by skill or physical attributes - only by results.

Video's of Darcy Moore before getting Drafted:

Moore was regarded as a potential number 1, but a combination of injury in the years previous to his draft year, and then uncertainty on his best position, saw him drop to a bid at 6. The hype with him was massive though, very close to what we’re seeing with Nick.

No way. Moore’s performances were no where need that of ND. The hype was more on size and heritage, not performance.

Nick at the moment is the whole package.

Never said his performances were even close to par, I don’t know where you got the idea I did.

For all the BF experts insisting Horne is ahead of Nick, this speaks volumes.

Does but There still seen as the Top 2 Prospects.

Not all Top Picks been Captain or Vice-Captains

When you’re neck and neck Dave, leadership qualities become a huge factor.

Daicos INVENTED turning the ball on it's axis and angling the ball through and it is now a league wide practice.

Anyone who wasn't privileged watch his career unfold from the stands cannot be expected to understand PK was a true demi-god.

His youngest son appears to have most of his attributes and talent with the advantage of coming through a stronger training regime.

I would be shocked if it wasn't so.
What about his oldest son? I've seen enough of him to think he has the gift too.

From memory the Bulldogs bid on Moore at pick.5, CFC matched the bid securing Moore at 9. The bidding system was different in those days.

Josh Daicos was taken dead last in his draft, DEAD LAST!!!!

Redo that draft now he goes top 5.
Nothing in either of those 2 sentences is true.
