You probably wouldn't of noticed but Nick did play against the Roos on Saturday, He was mainly rotating from HBF to the midfield and only got the pill around 5 times. I was fairly dissapointed in his game as he is one of my great white hopes out of the youngsters. There really isn't much to say about the Eski's game apart from the fact he has an absolute booming kick to rival Nick Davis. He launched a big left foot bomb fromj 65 metres which just carried to the goal square....yes i'm struggling :o.

According to the afl.com he had 4 kicks and 8 handpasses which surprised me as I thought he was pretty quiet.I must admit it took me a while to work out who number 9 was.
I am on his bandwagon so I hope he has a good year.I would like to see him rotating between HFF and midfield rather than HBF.If he can get the ball his delivery to Barry will be something to see plus he would be a scoring threat in his own right.

I thought of all the players on the wekend he was the greatest disappointment. As captain of the reserves last year he is obviously highly thought of, and this would have been the perfect game for him to stamp himself a senior player player but he was anonymous. I feel his best possie is half forward where his uncanny peripheral vision and foot skills could be put to best use. But he did nothing on the weekend (admittedly it is just one game) to suggest he is ready to stand up.

Dont know about Malceski. Is flashy but very one sided. I would like to see him a lot tougher in the contests. People say he has a booming kick. I disagree, he kicks low to the ground and seems to have trouble with his tredectory.

Very much like John Stevens.

Reserves Vs Quenbalphabet.

Nick totally dominated the ressies this week with polish. I only got to the ground at 3 quarter time but i have been told that he seemed to be on another level than the rest out there.

Will be called up to the seniors this week.

Had the ball on a string. Probably not as good as his 50 possession performance last year but just looked classy all over. I will be very surprised if he isn't called up.

Rd 3. Swans VS Carlton.

Nick made his senior debut for the year against Carlton and slotted straight into half back.
He was given decent game time and used the ball well with his trusty left boot. Doesn't lack endeavour and can take a solid grab.

Looked a bit lost when played in the forward pocket and should be played either at Half back or in the midfield.

He will most likely hold his senior spot against Melbourne and will look to impress again.
