Not 100% sure but from this thread on the main page Nick Stevens was given one week for his little jab on Rick Ladson.

I am guessing it was assessed as more than 100 points but less than 200 so he will probably have some carry over points. I will admit after seeing the incident I thought he was going to get 2-3 so I think he is a little lucky given that Rick looked ot be in a bit of a bad way. Silly thing for Nick to do after the club had been pretty disciplined for most of the year. Jarred Waite was pretty much the only player I can remember being rubbed out for the Blues this year and he was only give one week.

Does anyone have any stats on suspensions for 2008?

I think the only other suspension for this season was Adam Hartlett getting 2 weeks for fast-forwarding Cam Howat's calendar by one week.

Didn't Waite cop a week after the Freo game?

Would we be the most disciplined club in the AFL this year? Must be close.

Is this Fev's first year without an "enforced holiday"?

Yeah just heard on the news he was given two but reduced to one with an early plea.

Yes, a very disciplined year for the club given the readiness for the tribunal to suspend people for relatively minor or innocuous incidents.

Let's just hope we don't turn into Hawthorn as we improve and have players under the scope on a weekly basis.

The term for the best mind-set for AFL level is 'controlled aggression'.

Cameron Cloke has it down to a fine art form: he has all the aggression in the world towards the contest and the ball, and when necessary, the man; but there is never any malice or ego involved, once the contest is over he turns and jogs back to his place on the ground. EVERY player at our club would do very well to take a leaf out of Cam's book in this regard and aim to achieve this balance in their on-field demeanour.

Yeah. deffinitely take it. I thought he was very lucky to only get 1 week, the only way you'd appeal is if there is no chance of a second week, which i doubt.

Fev did have a forced week off didn't he? Didn't he get a 1 week club suspension? or am i thinking of last year?

Carlton should ban Nick Stevens from playing seniors until he proves he is willing to bleed blue. He,s a lazy fat sheepdog. He should be elite and bringing it evry week, not just when he feels like it. Just a waste of talent.
