nick stevens?

im still hearing a lot of rumors about nick stevens to collingwood. what do u think we should give it up and where does it leave us in the chase for nathan brown. do we go for brown or stevens if we have the opportunity. maybe didak and molloy could be in the mix?

To start with...Didak won't be going anywhere as we signed him until the end of 2006 during the season and he is a class act. You just don't trade someone you got at #3 in the draft and especially after what Didak has shown he can do. Remember he is only 20.

I don't think Molloy would get very much in a trade and I can't really see the point of trading him. We need hard players in the forward line and when on song, Molloy is a very valuable commodity.

Here's what I think we should give to get Stevens...
*Ben Kinnear
*2nd round draft pick.

Why I think of the above... well Kinnear has played what...7 games in the 1's in the last two seasons and he's from South Australia so we could send him home. And a 2nd round draft pick would make it just that bit sweeter for Port and since we don't really need many youngsters anymore, I'd be more than willing to get Stevens from the above.

Remember that Nick Stevens is one of the best midfielders in the league and he is one tough c*nt! Imagine Bucks, Burnsie, Lica and Stevo. Toughest midfield in the league by far.

On the other hand I would still like Nathan Brown. They need talls more than any other team so maybe Guy Richards could be used as trade bait over there. They certainly won't want draft picks as they will have #1 and 4 this season.

Well that doesn't matter he can still get traded allthough he wont.
