My boy showed some glimpses on Friday night of what kind of player he will be. Hard as nails, good skills and quick thinking. The Luke Hodge comparisons are not far off the mark. Very excited he's a Tiger :thumbsu:

As predicted he's also confusing the hell out of commentators

Bring on the NAB!

So good

Haven't seen the game yet but I hear my boy put in another respectable showing. He's trending well for a round 1 berth so far.

Apparently needs a new nickname though, 'Tigga' is too similar to 'Tiger'... Flossy is the obvious one. Any other suggestions?

Finally got to see the Essendon game, the man love grows by the minute

Looks like a real gem this kid. Lock him in for Round 1

Looking back at how Vlastuin played in the pre-season, Vlastuin's agility stands out. This helps him dodge players trying to tackle him. This is one similarity he shares with Trent Cotchin. Vlastuin's agility will help him when is running through the midfield. I hope Vlastuin is selected for Round 1.

Well put Pounce, I do hope he's in line for round 1 selection. Deserves to start on the bench IMO. Would be a great test of his character too, how he stands up to that amount of pressure.

According to reports from people who watched Coburg play, Vlastuin played well and was one of the best players on the ground. Vlastuin is certainly not doing any harm to his chances of making his senior debut for Richmond. We play the Saints next and I think Vlastuin could do some damage running through the midfield, if he played.

Solid debut from Tigga on Friday.

Only racked up 11 disposals, but 10 of those came in the first half, which was impressive. Obviously his tank needs work but this kid will be something special when he can play four quarters at full intensity. Had 4 (bone crunching) tackles for the match as well, I'm pretty sure all of them came in the first half.

I only saw him line up around a stoppage once or twice in the second half, so I'd be interested to see what his ToG was for the second half, would be surprised if it was more than 40~%, probably much less than that.

Backing into that pack... :thumbsu:

Nick came down to my children's Auskick clinic this morning in Balwyn North. Did really well with the youngsters. Grew up in Eltham as a Collingwood supporter but now is a rusted on Tiger. Chatted with him briefly at the end and I came away impressed with his maturity.

I've noticed (& it is perfectly highlighted above) that Nick sort of 'gets down low' when he kicks the ball.... has a pronounced bend in his left leg.
Gives him a short and therefore accurate ball drop + great leverage to get maximum distance. When kicking for goal on the run he does the same thing.... last week v Essendon was identical.
Looks really neat.

Very very excited about this young man! :thumbsu:

My boy, what a gun. Absolute steal at pick 9. Could be the best player of his draft if he keeps this up. LOVEHIMLOVEHIMLOVEHIM
