OK, this must be done, as I am more hyper than a kid on red cordial.

Brad Symes is obviously Eddie, after Eddie Munster

For Troy Chaplin, I like Horse in reference to the Trojan horse

Michael Pettigrew - Gruesome? Or just Grew as our Goo replacement.

Luke Peel - Orange, Mandarin.

Robert Forster-Knight - Sir Robert will do me.

Other suggestions? :D

Luke Peel - Orange, Banana, if he turns out to be a dud we can call him Lemon. The possibilities are endless.

Forster-Knight - The Force, Jedi ("may the force be with you").

I was liking Orange or Mandarin for the matching hair colour.

Ah. Oh well.

More pictures of some of our boys, back in their u17 days.

Goddammit, Eago77. I was going to say Charlie.

Brad Symes - Pitt (Pitty or Pittster).

Luke Peel - Lucky (after the comic cowboy, Lucky Luke)

Rob Forster-Knight - Grassy.(work it out. hint:what are his initials)

Michael Pettigrew - Gruber or The Gruber

Brad Symes is definately Eddie.

For Luke Peel...it will sound a bit wierd yelling out 'great goal Orange' or 'well done Mandarin' so, because his name can be linked to many different fruits....why not call him 'fruity'?? Or if a specfic fruit is required, I'd prefer Banana, then we can shorten it to 'nana and then we can sing the naaaaaaaaaa naaa naaaa nanina naaaaaa part of Hey Jude after his goals.

Pettigrew - Splinter v2.0

Forster-Knight - Bomber or Sir Robert.

AH YA ****IN' FRUIT! If he stuffs up on field?

Now I'm thinking something along the lines of Ginger.

Robert Forster-Knight = I'm thinking either Major or flag

You're asking why the hell those nicknames? easy, MAJOR Isreal Foster's family held the Forster-Knight flag in their possession for many years after the American War of Independance.

This is the Forster Knight flag

Information came from THIS website

I agree with Chaplin = Charlie

and

Peel = "Naaaana"

and

Symes = Eddie

and

Michael Pettigrew could be "Roper" from THIS reference

or even better, he could be "General", or "Johnny Reb" or "Gettysburg" all from THIS reference

I love it! :D

Nananaaaaana nananaaana Hey Luke.....

Plus Banana is a great nickname in itself anyway :p

In that case, welcome to Charlie, Eddie, Banana, Sir Robert and er..Michael Pettigrew.

Hahaha.. lovin' it.

I believe a sign saying "watch out for the slippery Peel" would be appropriate :D
