I was fan boying hard when the Ocarina was announced

I'm guessing Nintendo will have a Zelda direct with hopefully a release date

Reckon October or December release
We will probably get a couple more trailers.

Zelda direct after Splatoon comes out.

Probably another direct in september.

That direct was insane, the amount of good shit announced was crazy

Switch 2 being able to play AAA games on launch is a game changer, FF7R3 and KH4 on that shit is insane
Not to mention it has slowly become normal for games announced at neutral shows like SGF to support Switch 2 from day one see: RE Veronica and Alien Isolation 2.

i am not into the JRPG stuff but there's already too much for me to play.

Fascinated to see what they can do in terms of the OOT world in terms of the upgrade. Breath of the Wild/Tears of the Kingdom Hyrule was spectacular, albeit a bit apocalyptic and empty by design.

The first ride out of Kokiri Forest into Hyrule Field is going to be something else entirely.

No doubt they put this out because the Switch 2 sales are worse than expected. I might buy in a few years.

Happy to see more people play this landmark title but on another level, it shows the sorry state of the industry that their big system seller is a remake of a nearly 30 year old game.

The most important question is this: will Link still be left handed? Or will they maintain the ****up as a legacy of Wii motion controls?
