Think about it this way.
Who would you rather in your starting 22 to compliment Judd, Gibbs e.t.c.

Dean Cox = Kreuzer
Gary Ablett Jnr = Cotchin

Just pause, close your eyes and imagine both of those current AFL players ( 1 at a time) running around with the likes of Chris, Bryce e.t.c.

Now, who do you like ?

stuff it, lets get both.

pick one now and in 2 years pick up the other one in trade week!!

Prior to last years draft, it was confirmed that Leuenberger was a massive Carlton fan, and that it was rumoured that if he wasn't taken by Carlton, that after 2 years he would asked to be traded to Carlton from the club that picked him up, being Brisbane.

Cotchin because he's a match winner and Gary Ablett jnr. won a preliminary final off his own boot.

But the leadership and talents of an Ottens and King which helped put the Cats in the position to win that prelim shouldn't be overlooked.

I think we'll pick Kreuzer.

For all we know, Cotchin might end up the next Nick Davis and be an inconsistent talent tease who didn't develop the engine to play in the midfield.

Dean Cox helped the Eagles into two Grand Finals.

I can see a ruck with Kreuzer's motor running back with the flight to take a contested mark and kick the goal like Koschitzke did against Carlton this year. Most big men are all arms legs as juniors and take longer to develop, but Kreuzer has better co-ordination than most 18 year old rucks and will improve out of sight with more development.

Lets see how Cotchin performs without a winning ruck to put the ball down his throat ala Judd without Cox. ;)

I suspect Cotchin will be a fair bit better than that. Considering that he is bottom aged, and almost 12 months younger than Kreuzer, he ticks just about every box recruiters are looking for. Perhaps is endurance is the only question mark, but hey, Gibbs aint no endurance "freak" either.

wouldnt that be nice actually

but would you take him now. well i guess it all depends on the progress of Hampson and Aisake and Kreuzer

Can he fight crime though?
