What about our H&A record against the Eagles ??? Oooops there goes that one, try againcaptain ebert said:reads like a choke to me:
"We have to play better in finals. Our record in the home and away series has been great but we haven't been able to win the couple of games we've needed to get into a Grand Final.
who said that?

captain ebert said:youre a fricken moron - did you ever study the ladder at all throughout the year?
for the whole season you guys were favourites.
relapse said:Okay then back on the topic of clutching at straws![]()
relapse said:hahaha pot calling the kettle black
who cares about part way through the season, we werent favourites at the end of the minor round. Thats when it actually matters.
Holy crap I've already said that last years FIRST ROUND was a choke. The match at subi had nothing to do with choking. Adelaide losing last years prelim is about as much of a choke as Port losing in last years semi. Yeah that's right. It wasn't.The Floodbuster said:Then why wasn't it a choke in 2005 considering you finished top last year. Using your logic both Finals losses last year were chokes.

captain ebert said:oh well, 4 goals up at half time.....of course, history said you were going to lose![]()
SBR_04 said:This seriously isn't going to solve anything, because us Crows and Port supporters are always going to have a difference of opinion. Whether or not we did choke it quite frankly doesn't bother me, because i couldn't care less about comparing our previous finals records with the Power anymore.
Of course, we're always going to have competition with each other, that's a result of sharing the same state. But this worrying about the simple "chokers" tag IS getting ridiculous now.
Adelaide DO still have a chance next year, simple as that, the list is still very strong.
Now seriously.. this thread is just a repeat of the same fights over and over again, while some good points are being made it's not going anywhere useful at all.
So in other words.. can't we all just get along![]()
relapse said:nah, but lets be honest. West Coast have a better midfield and without Biglands. Cox got into the game a lot more in the second half and their midfield got more ball and we got beaten. We werent playing some pathetic side, this was a side that has come back from being 10 goals down just before 3 quarter time to win.
It sucks and I am so disappointed about it and our "premiership window" has closed IMO.
We could play what ifs and maybe if West Coast had of beaten Sydney in the first week things might have been totally different. West Coast seem to have our number and we just cant crack it.
captain ebert said:the season is the stepping stone to getting there, idiot - you're form throughout showed you were clearly the league leaders - & when it did count, everyone backed you, they thought you would atone, they didnt expect you to choke, again.
Greatness23 said:Geez guys, my father is a sensible port supporter and even he doesn't think it was a choke and is embarassed by the notion that other Port fans are trying to claim it was.
Hahaha thankyou for making me laughThe Floodbuster said:That's a cop out, of coarse no Crows supporter will want to compare their recent finals record with ours because it is simply worse.
captain ebert said:well, being honest, i didnt expect to see what happened unfold before me.
you had their measure, & being honest your effort in the 3rd term, the premiership quarter, when it all counted the most, exposed you as chokers.
you didnt expect to let them back in did you? i mean, you always thought you were capable - dont tell me you thought you were going to lose this game from the very outset.
relapse said:Many didnt even expect us to beat Freo.
If you look closely I used the words, he is a SENSIBLE Port supporter. Something that is rare on the forums.finbarr said:Well that settles it then. Greatness23's dad says it wasn't a choke so i guess it wasn't a choke.
Close thread now.
