It would seem one of Richmonds big problems is none of the players have any confidence.
Whenever we have the ball we seem to be completely uncertain in what we are doing and eventually horribly coff it up.
I don't know if the players are confused by the game plan, intimadated by opposition players or just don't have the right skills (either through natural ability or proper coaching)
Kane Johnson for example, at Adelaide was a dashing and very attacking player, now he can hardly kick and is only really effective as a negative type player (admittly he is a decent tagger)
Tambling has all of the skills in the world however when he has the ball he just chokes.
Andrew Raines last year was so exciting to watch because he backed himself in and took risks.
I feel so sorry for Richo having to put up with such crap forward line delivery. They way that we deliver the ball to him is disgraceful, no wonder his body language is bad, how frustrating would it be to be one of the best forwards in the league watching the midfield chip it around sideways and then wobbling into to a 3 on 1 stop start contest!?!?!?
Whilst it can be said a lot of this is due to the Frawley years, that was a number of years ago now so that excuse is really washing anymore
I'm not quite sure where this rant is heading all I know is that Terry needs to come up with a game play and that gives the players confidence in what they are doing and back them all the way.
I hate to say it however it is getting harder and harder to sit and watch the footy these days. I will always be a tigers man however after years of watching dismal performances its getting a bit old.
