I'm guessing that the 3 in's will be the emergencies, however Broadbridge could be dropped most likely for Armstrong (who had a good first half last week for Sandy apparently). Although I can't see them changing a winning side.

I listened to Danners this morning on 927 & he hinted that Lamb would get McKernan. He also said of Lamb that he was a big boy & it's time for him to play on the big boys. I like the fact he's thrown down the challenge to Lamb, however if Mckernan goes nuts & kicks 8 or so he'll most likely cop critisism.

I guess Biz will take Whitnall (if Kouta plays down back) & Ellis will most likely get Fevola. Whelan or maybe even Broadbridge on Murphy & Walsh on Lappin. Beaumont can play either end but will be needed in defence. Houlihan will be floating about & will probably get matched up with Johnno. I'd expect Junior to tag Caporeale. Franchina will tag either Yze or Woey.

I don't know much about the Carlton defence but I'd expect Livingston to take Neeta (good luck kid!) Kouta will play on Wheatley when he's on. Beaumont will take Jolly, McKay on Green which leaves Wiggins with Robbo I guess.

As always the midfield is crucial White & Jolly should be able to Handle Merrington & McKernan giving Woey,Yze,Johnno,Powell & Brown first use. If they're given the same room to work in as last week the inexperienced Blues backline will be overrun.

Well said mate....

I am hoping that Carlton get carried away and put Kouta on Neitz. As much as it probably won't happen, Neitz would murder Kouta in his first game back and with his knee brace hampering him too. Even if this Livingston get's him, I would expect Neitz to cominate, especially if we deliver the ball well.

I am glad Lamb is getting the bigger boys also. He deserves his shot and if he can keep up his form, will be more than a handy replacement for Nicho (altho no-one can replace him!).

White should win the ruck and our backline should hold steady. I think we can win by around 5 goals!

Jolly to kick 4! :D :D

Although I'd settle for any old win I really hope we go all out to improve our percentage. We've missed a few opportunities to belt teams so far & we're paying for it with our poor percentage now. It could mean the difference between a home final & having to go to Footy Park. We need to go 9-6 & must be switched on from the opening siren for a change because Carlton are desperate & given a sniff they could be dangerous if we allow them a chance.

Apparently we trained really well today, which is always a good sign.

It will be the Kouta factor. Carlton will be pumped up early riding the emotion wave of having their inspirational leader out there, and if we can halt that run early and get down to business, then we should be right.

I'd like to see us put Vardy, Wheatley, Green and Robertson all out towards the 50 area, and leave Neitz one out with plenty of room to lead. Do that, and he will have a field day I reckon......could Whitnall possibly get him? Jolly can be the decoy lead, seeing as he is the team man....

And, you ready for some Jolly cheering Sunday mate? I need to get a few "Kick it to Jolly's" and "Make a lead Darren's" out of my system! ;) :D

If Livingston doesn't play on Neeta I don't see who else he could take. Maybe Jolly, but he might not start on the gound even (won't stop us yelling kick it to Jol of course ;)) If they play Whitnall on him it could work but then Neeta gave Leppitsch a bath all day long last week. The delivery to him & the space he was given were key factors obviously. Green & Vardy did a lot of good work outside the 50 metre arc last week & I'd expect that to continue this week.

Should be a good day regarless of the match.

I whole heartedly agree with that, especially that last statement. LOL, I actually made sure I had plenty of beer money handy too! Looking forward to it mate...

Plus, if anyone else is going, myself and BT will be in the locker room before the game if you want to head on over and say hello to us good looking chaps! :D
