Unfortunately for me I'm only 18 so I'll have to go through all that.
I just couldn't be bothered... driving to Burwood to get my hazards and being put under the pump by some neckbeard/angry 55 year old woman in a dead-end driver-testing job for half an hour or whatever it is.
Be glad when it's over, haha.

You guys should check out S00z's thread on the GD (or maybe Lifestyle? Can't remember) suggesting that they extend the 120 hours. Great arguments and a very good thread, just like all S00z posts.

I'm pretty sure it was on the Society board... But of course, her arguments make logical sense, and have no flaws, and are perfect in every way.

Anybody have any experience with websites/blogs and stuff? Not sure whether to go with WordPress or get my own site. Obviously a site costs money for a domain/host etc but I'd be interested in a run down of pros and cons for each side if anyone has any idea.

In all seriousness it's an AFL 'list management' website/blog. Will have draft prospect write-ups, match summaries, mock drafts, trade period previews/reviews, so on and so forth.

I think it was actually considered quite strongly that they would lift it to 200 hours or something. Guess it didn't eventuate though.

60 hours is still more than enough. Legally, the day you turn 21, you could get your L's, then a week later, come back and do the driving test. If you pass you're a P plater. It's a flawed system.

first start off with wordpress and maybe do a few html related stuff (reading books etc) to gain experience.

You can find some decent domains for a cheap price but some business don't provide that effective security to defend your site.

you could always begin with starting in major social networkings i.e. bigfooty, facebook to get followers and provide them with partial content and forward them onto ya site.

See I prefer the 'own website' option too, but then the fact that I've never run a website or done much with html before makes it really difficult to know how to manage it etc.

But on the other hand if I go on WordPress, it's much much easier for me and lets me see if it's something I want to continue with...but then is there an easy way to transfer things over or do I have to start from scratch basically?
