I'd rather Port finish 3rd and play the Giants. They've only beaten one side in finals in the last decade, and that's Geelong (twice) and the Swans shit the bed whenever they play them.

A few permutations are possible given percentage, essentially in a nutshell, GWS win and Dockers win would knock Port out of Top 2. Alternatively, regardless of any other results today about a 3 goal loss would knock Port out of the Top 2. I still feel for that to happen, the Dockers need a "live" game to make the 8, ie a Dogs or Blues loss. Dockers will know whats at stake when they start their game.

- The Bulldogs will miss the finals if Carlton and Fremantle win

If the Blues win

• Their spot in the finals will be secured
• They are set to finish no higher than seventh

If the Saints win

• The Blues' spot in the top eight is in danger
• If Fremantle beats Port Adelaide, the Blues would miss the eight

If the Dockers win
- They will play finals, unless the Bulldogs and Blues win
- Port could drop out of the top two, but no lower than fourth
