I never watch these programs but the feeling is even worse for me. This ordeal has left me completely pissed off and wondering why I even bother investing any time into watching footy at all. The whole league is staged WWF style bullshit and Adelaide is always playing the part of the heel.

I guess when it comes to wokeness …. you support it … until you don’t.

Well, it would have been a fair bit of fun when it was happening to players from other clubs. You can get right into it then. Much harder when it's your club and it's terrible timing being on the doorstep of the finals.

Just saw that Caro appeared on the Betoota Podcast and the clip they showed was her patting herself on the back and lauding herself for ‘digging’ and dredging up the Melbourne Tanking scandal years after it happened and making the front page of the Age…

Must’ve been a real proud moment for her that the only one truely punished wasn’t even at Melbourne anymore, was black marked by the AFL and died of cancer soon after with that wrongful stain on his reputation.

Sooner she’s no longer flattering her ego in the public eye the better.

The problem I see with the AFL putting blocks in place with father/son and academy selections is what's to stop clubs encouraging players to tank in their draft year?

If you had a potential recruit like Nick Daicos surely the club would encourage them to sit out or do something to effect their draft standing so they end up at their club of choice.

The only positive from the AFL shitting the door is that it potentially shuts down the whole Cochrane scheme that Port are attempting to cook up.

The whole thing stinks to high heaven as a ruse by Port to try and circumvent the system.

It is such a simple thing to fix though, if you trade your first out in a year you have a F/S prospect and someone bids on him in the first...bad luck. It never irked me that teams get a Daicos for pick 5 (though seriously, WTF, bid on him pick 1) as much as it does that they could trade out that first round pick the year before for a better pick in that draft and then just amass a few shite picks, or trade the first in the year of the F/S for a first the year after.

The way I look at it, if you want two father sons or three academy players, go get the first round picks to make it happen, if you don't, you get one and the rest get snapped up by others.

Looking at the ladder Adelaide should/could have eliminated Hawthorn in Launceston.
Or Gold Coast. Looking at it now is it a good thing we got robbed up there? Didn't matter to us, and boots the Bulldogs out of the 8 in favour of a much more fragile team.

If only there was another 5 teams we could have eliminated, there’d be no one left in the finals to play and we’d win by default.
