She was one of those too talented for another club not to try and pounce on. Also her injuries with us may have played a big part in her wanting a change of scenery. If she can stay injury free, has the potential to be an elite mid/forward like Erin. We could do with one of those types right now..

I assume you mean Magpies, and yes Even leaves us a sneaky chance to creep into the top 2 if Collingwood somehow spanks Brisbane next week (but that's not going to happen...)

Not sure who I'd prefer the Crows to play right now with both those teams in really good form.

It is technically possible for us to finish top 2, but it would require one of Melbourne or Brisbane to get hammered to bring their percentage down. Realistically, not gonna happen.

At this stage I have more faith in us beating Melbourne than Brisbane. I think Melbourne are just a high quality side who will try to beat us on their merits, whereas Brisbane seems like a "smart" side who will implement a game plan to beat us. That said, I struggle to see us beating either of them, especially away.

Both Houghton and Phillips looked like they thought it went through, but what can you really do if the umpire says it's a behind, you can't get up in their face and get them to change their mind
