thought we looked okay from what i saw in the trial just now against port. if we can just be competitive this season i'll take it. coming from a long way back but we at least look fitter and there will be plenty of youngsters getting games i would think.

I thought he had. There was the apocryphal story when he 1st arrived in SA to coach, he said to the players 1st time he met them that he was gay and if anyone had a problem with that, meet him in the middle of the oval and they'd 'discuss' it. No one did.
May not be true of course.

Just based on media reports and gotchas I think Scott would have been discussed more openly if he had officially said it

Edit: Not that it matters but he does have a son who was on Hawthorns list 2004-05
