I went to that game too. Good outcome in the end.I'll be at Panthers V Pear 2. We need a BF badge to identify fellow tragics.
PanthersBeaten by amateurs you say?

Great to be there for a Panthers rare win--especially with who we beat.I went to that game too. Good outcome in the end.
All but 3 goals were scored at the goal end near the mall end.
Crazy 1st half. South kicked 5 goals to one In the 1st quarter.
Then it was 6.5.41. to ports 6.4.40 at half time. Panthers dominated the 3rd quarter and held on to win by 2 and a half goals
I was in the grandstand southern end, I was really just there to watch my lad play at halftime but enjoyed the footy aswell.Great to be there for a Panthers rare win--especially with who we beat.
Where were you and Froggy sitting? We were on the fence on the grandstand side on the wing.
Me? I am usually go at The goal ends when South are kicking. So 2nd and 4th quarters I was hanging around with the Panthers cheer squadGreat to be there for a Panthers rare win--especially with who we beat.

Yep that was him.Just watching the SANFL Glenelg v Norwood. The Goal umpire with the glasses at the Northern end. Is that the G/U that called the Keays goal against Sydney a couple of years ago incorrectly? Been dropped, to SANFL I assume.
I am not disrespecting Sturt. Not sure of the validity but I’ll go with it.View attachment 2572127
Central's made finals last season. They have a few winnable home games in Elizabeth coming up. Panthers will be one of themAgain, Centrals were frustrating to watch yesterday. Handball happy, turning over the ball at will, and bizarre decision making like trying to shut the game down at the 20 minute mark of the last quarter when you’re only two goals up.
At least they got a point out of the game. Could be the only premiership point they get for some time if they keep serving up garage like this.
That’s why I questioned the validity, the only metrics mentioned is U21. Doesn’t mention a time period.I am not disrespecting Sturt.
I was surprised Sturt topped the list on the SANFL list.
Sturt has produced AFL draftees. I am just used to certain SANFL clubs on certain years producing AFL talent.
I was chatting with a Carlton and Norwood fan.
I chatted to him about Norwood flag era of 2012-14. Norwood had players taken by AFL clubs. Not the teenagers but the mature aged guys aged between 21 to 24.
I mean for example Paul Puopolo was taken as a mature aged 22 year old in the 2010 draft.
Sturt won back to back flags in 2016-7 and they had mature aged blokes drafted to AFL clubs.
The first two games of the season were very much winnable and they've got a draw and a loss out of that.Central's made finals last season. They have a few winnable home games in Elizabeth coming up. Panthers will be one of them

The bitumen and gravel surrounds certainly has tradition on its side but this is a big improvement imho
They're announcing the name soon too.
