6252 at Unley yesterday. Not bad for what is essentially half an oval.

A long way to go of course but a Norwood v Sturt grand final could generate a decent crowd. There hasn't been 40k+ at an SANFL grand final since North beat the Redlegs in 2018

Tim Evans, Port Adelaide goalkicker from 1975 to 1986 now inductee into AFL Hall of Fame.
Good. His numbers are elite

I watched Kantilla play in South's Premiership .....I was in awe of how athletic this big man was

He remains one of the most memorable players to have played SANFL ......he and Peter Darley, what a combo

Most of ground is now accessible. I think it's like our AFLW matches now where the only bit not accessible is a small part of the south-western pocket.

Alberton is now the de-facto 2000's Unley experience at the moment with only the western end goals and the area in front of the two grandstands open for SANFL matches.

I must say it's great to see Unley slowly open up more on match days. The first game back at Unley in 1998 has gone up on You Tube and it's quite weird seeing 3/4 of the boundary covered in hessian sacks over temporary fences!
