I'm not sure what the Freo have done in the last 20 years to deserve to keep their independence. Plus most of their supporters are campaigners.

Would be shocked if they can still afford hats. Straight into their hands or nothing I reckon.
#earnyasoupScaldingly hot soup too. If they want to eat it comes with 2nd degree burns.
Essendon is still run like a shitty suburban league club. Their lack of success over the past 20 years is because they've never moved on from former glories.

Credit to the Hawks and Pies on this front. When they're down they aren't down for longSimilar to Carlton, think they can just use their financial clout to buy flags like they used to in the olden days.
No surprise that once the salary cap and draft came in the rate of flags won by Carlton and Essendon dried up very quickly
Surely Collingwood's geriatric squad will have to catch up with them shortly.Credit to the Hawks and Pies on this front. When they're down they aren't down for long
Gotta say, if your captain is looking to get out, then at least we actually GOT THEM OUT. Having a captain who's clearly decided they want to be somewhere else still on the list has got to be a problem.Malarkey the new captain of norf.
LOL, i suppose there is literally no one else.

That's a name going back in time, big time. Big time name too - Malarkey out of East Perth fame. What a player he was at CHB. Out and out champion. I think he went to North Melbourne too iirc, like so many of the EP boys; that's why I used to barrack for Norths before the birth of the Eagles.
