I don’t disagree I’m enjoy how Ras is going, but Duursma is a better player than Erasmus (only the Eagles one, the other brothers are average). Quite comfortably, there is a reason the guy went pick 1.
Duursma is definitely the better player, I agree. I meant more if it was choice between JOM or Ras, I’d be sending JOM on his way to Peel. 👋🏽

I actually think their kids are quietly pretty good. It’s their lack of good senior players that is the problem for them - they look a significantly better team if Yeo is in the side.

The experience of Geelong has just gapped them a bit here.
Yeah as much as I enjoy them getting beaten for the banter their young players are developing well.

It'll take them a few years, but they'll turn into a serious group of players, there doesn't seem to be a lot of ego to any of them either, they just seem focused on playing their best football.

In general yes, but there might be one notable exception you're forgetting about there...

Circling back… You’d have to try and find a spot for Waterman too, if we’re talking who we’d take from the weags. AA two years ago (although not sure he should’ve been), but he can definitely play. AND that butt-ugly mullet would have to go. Unacceptable.

(And circling riiiigghht - Reid yes, Baker no)

I have an enormous dislike watching Ash play. Selfish stat wh*re, only plays for himself.

On the other side, I absolutely love watching Finn Calaghan play, one of my favourites
Callaghan is awesome. Just a bull that creates space and makes things happen.

I mean Waterman easily would be our second best tall forward.
Hard pass. Waterman's a one dimensional lead/mark full forward - which he's exceptional it. Similar to Ben Brown from a few years back.

He'll be an upgrade on Voss, (who's also 4 years younger). At the same age, Voss is comfortable ahead and provides more pressure on the ground.

Jye's a different player, oozes class. His "worst" full season at 21-22yrs is better than Waterman's outside of 2024 where he was AA.
