By the way, the beer I had was called a Blue Berry Sour and it was great. Also stopped off at Sailors Grave Brewery in Orbost on the way to Melbourne and the way back. The Let Them Eat Carrot Cake beer is fantastic.

I remember when we played for our club, every milestone you could bet we would win, against the odds we would stand up and fight.
None of that anymore, we roll over and cop it.

Truth is, over the last 20 years, North have been abysmal in milestone/noteworthy games. Starting with a 54 point drubbing in the “Carey” game in R6, 2003. I believe the final games of King, Stevens and Archer were all floggings. Boomer was the only one who booked the trend.

Why would any give a * in that situation?

I'm not sure if pride is the issue, they're just not good enough. And because of the skill execution, or lack of, we tend to make the downhill skier teams look like millionaires. We keep bringing it up every week about Clarkson and making hard decisions, we're going to have to wear this for the rest of the year, but he's got a few to make. For a 4 time premiership coach some of them won't be that hard.

They only started paying him frees after it became embarrassing not to do so. Could have had 4 or five in the first 15 minutes
