Gee I really hope the appropriate questions are being asked of our medical team.
Are players getting selected without proper clearance? Or is clearance being given despite the fact the injuries obviously haven't healed?
Either way, somebody needs to answer for re-injuries to:
Marchbank
Weitering
Murphy
Williamson
McReadie
1-2 names may be a cooncidence, 5 names is a clear pattern

McNieceI stood adjacent to the coaches box in the Pratt stand and watched Silvagni at the stoppages. As we know he has a good footy brain and I reckon he can be counted on to make good decisions with the ball. He is though, understandably, still on L plates as a midfielder. He appeared too static to me, not really bustling as such. He continuously allowed that Essendon #41 to initiate contact, and so found himself on the back foot as that #41 would push off and get an advantage. I think it’s an experiment worth persevering with especially as I don’t think Jack is fit enough for AFL at the moment ... perhaps his post season shoulder surgery may have something to do with that.

"Goddess"

VFL umpires pay precious few holding the ball decisions, resulting in congested play & lots of stoppages. One can only assume they are instructed to umpire in this way.VFL umpiring...
He's right there but doesn't reward Penrith's tackle at 2:20, I mean ffs.
many were bagging the decision to take him early at pick 30 but now he's starting to show why it was probably a very good decision.Amazing
Not at taking him, but using our pick 30 to do it.were people bagging taking him?
KM rated our Draft a D.were people bagging taking him?
Bereft of all other options, sure.By the looks of that, JSOS may be ready to come in as a mid/forward next week, what do think?
Bring him in. Small ground and Cripps could use some support.Bereft of all other options, sure.
I'd VERY much rather leave him in the VFL to develop his midfield craft; you don't train as a tall forward/forward flanker for 2 years then play 6-8 games as a midfielder and suddenly you're a midfielder. It takes time to find the fitness required, to know the right positioning, and to read the players around you. He needs that time before we throw him into the cauldron that is an AFL midfield.
We've got injured to come back in, let's see what happens in the tail end of the year first.
