In what will come as a massive shock to all, Kerr misses a relatively easy shot on the half time siren that would have put us in front. Geez I wish our guys had some resolve and would own moments. 4.9 to 5.4

In fairness, today is his first game, from what I gather he got picked because he could keep up with the Curnows in the distance running.

Similar to last week in that opposition generally controlling the play but effort has us right in this.

Williamson looks so composed. Gains speed when turning. Great athletic quality.
Pity he didn't kick that goal on the run. You could just feel the Carlton supporters here about to erupt.
Stocker good but made errors in kick outs when men were open. Still playing well though.
First look at Cottrell. Not bad. Not bad at all. Some real zip and run about him.
Macreadie on par with what one would have expected. Been OK without a forcing himself upon the game just yet. Nice mark
Goddard good. Rucks being beaten although Philips did get some of his own back in the second half of that quarter.

- Williamson looks terrific, he’s in terrific touch and will be better for the run
- Cottrell has some tricks
- Matt Kennedy looks good, not super clean but has a place in our midfield
