Got to see Macleod first hand today.

Who said Bennet was top five DIV 1 player? Um… no.. Not even in the same atmosphere

Bomber Kennan and Shane Tennant showed the sort of calibre required.

Nonetheless lost of upside to Macleod – good kids, well drilled and certainly play their home deck well. Really well supported, lots to build on.

Impressed with White and the bloke with the Irish name number 4

Well at least Mcleod are still 3rd.who would have thought!.not saying that they will stay there , but you never know!.(with monty 4th and Nth 5th).

Watched the first half of this game and was quite impressed with Macleods intensity at the contest. Might not have the big bodies of some teams, but they have a crack. Few undisciplined actions by Mont gave Macleod a bit of an edge early on, and a bit of momentum into the second qtr but to Monts credit they stuck at it and dragged a bit of that momentum back with a couple of goals before half time. I noticed Lynch ended up with 5 goals, also noticed a few selfish bits of play that are probably a bit more costly in div 1. A few people get on here and have a bit of a dig at Macleod (perhaps in jest), but they have an exciting group of players down there who play with confidence and a bit of flair. Certainly would`nt mind seeing them make a success of it in div 1.

Hey Brutal, a question. I read that you were everywhere today apparently except the place that most people would have expected - Mernda ! Have you given Lower away or were you banned from the ground?

Read his post mate. Brutal is actually from LP and came down for a look.

Nothing entered nothing gained! Would be a very boring forum if not for Macleod, Heid, Bund and Eltham supporters. The rest can please themselves or should I say read themselves... and often do!

Macleod have done very well to win the first 3 games. But with North, Bundy, Heidelberg and West to come i doubt they will win another game until the second half of the year and lucky to win 2 more for the rest of the year, but a good first year up so far. Looks like bundooras team is starting to gel and finding sum form.

Thats the problem with listening to gossip, its often wrong and you should know better than to pass it on. 17 points is hardly a smashing and Macleod led or almost equalled Mont in 3 of the 4 quarters. Let them get away in the third but fought back.
Certainly a game Macleod should have won but let it get away.

I`m at Lower from 4.30 every Tues and Thurs helping out, and every home game from 7.30 till stumps doing my designated role. Generally take the opportunity to watch other footy when we are away.

No wind to speak of.parkers 21 points up 12 min mark last qtr.hberg kicked 6 straight goals.all credit to them.the loose ball was fiercely contested by all players.it was fitting of a final.parkers are on the move.
