Heard that Pfeiffer will come in for Jamison. He hasn't trained all week, and it's a thigh injury that will keep him out.
My source works for Kernahan, and is generally spot on:thumbsu:
Setanta will most likely play Gehrig.
Not good news at all:thumbsdown:

WAIT A JIFFY..someone who went to training said jamison did sprints then participated in the rest of the seeion in full!
Is this some kind of sick joke

Well I saw the guy tonight, and he said Jamo had limited preparation on the track this week and may given a chance to prove his fitness tomorrow. However, he seemed certain that Jamo will miss the game, and like I said, he works for kernahan so he generally has pretty good info.
But I might be wrong, so dont kill me if I am, and that goes for all blues supprters :)

He really isn't expected to play, and I'm pretty sure he left the training track for abit on Wednesday by memory.

You'd expect Saddo to replace him if he pulls out though wouldn't you??

Ye thats what I would've thought, but apparently they're backing setanta to do the job on Gehrig, so therefore Pfeifer comes in as another midflied/halfback type.

not intended as a rumor just my opinion and that of some friendly st.kilda supporters is that gehrig is probably doubtful. he was named last week and didn't play and calf injuries are hard to get over, think clement last year.

I share your opinion and think that Clint Jones will be a late replacement for Gehrig. Jones was very very good last week and can't imagine the Saints dropping him.

if he plays and does it in the first couple of minutes that will help carltons cause :thumbsu: although I wouldn't wish it upon anyone...

Gehrig is most definitely still a doubt for this game.

Even if he plays, I don't expect a massive output from him, if he kicked 2 goals, I'd suggest that St. Kilda will be happy with that return.

If Gehrig does play, I don't expect him to lead all that often, and if Jamo plays, I want to see Jamo play off Gehrig and back his run and jump to spoil the ball, if they kick the ball to Gehrig on the lead, it'll fully test out his calf and he may not run out the game.

Gehrig playing could actually be a massive boost for Carlton

Nothing wrong with that. Carlos could most probably do the job on an under prepared Gehrig.
