I like those 2 inclusions.

Rupe out? Strange out that one. Especially considering we are playing a hard team like Brissy. You would think his workrate and tackling would get him over the line.

Betheras or Williams had to go. Neither are playing particualrly well. I think for team balance reasons, Rupe was chopped because with the grunt of Clem and Cloke in, we need to keep a more polished player in the side rather than another in and under man.

Personally I would have dropped them both and brought in Scotland.

I like Rupe and I hope he gets a good game under his belt at Willy. I want him to be dropped because he has not been playing wella nd we must win this game, he is a player that needs a full run and I would love him to run into form for the finals. I want Williams to be dropped because he is not very good. Trade bait.

Scotland for Williams is as logical as Kinnear for the scrap heap.
 
Rupe must be in the team because of his hardness at the ball and his tackling
one thing that WIlliams doesnt do is tackle and run hard like rupe..
 
Rupe has had his chance and as much as i think he is capable of is irrelevant because he hasnt performed.Walker is trying hard but cant cut it as a backman.Walker will get his chance,perhaps next year to play finals.could that be the end of Rupe,at collingwood?

Willo owes us a HUGE game. I just hope MM is right like he was with Jarrod a few weeks back.
 
I expected Rupe to get dropped this week. Rupe needs a little break and to be brought back fresh for the finals.

Here is what i think Rupe does wrong.

1. He flies for marks with Taz and Pebbles when he should stay down and crumb. He should learn off Cheesy Obree.


2. He plays on when he shouldnt and gets into trouble and often gives the ball to a player in a worse position.


However a fresh and fired up Rupe is essential comes final time as his intensity and tackling are fantastic. Even when he does make a mistake he chases and does all the hards thing to rectify it.

Andrew Williams is walking on a tight rope at the moment and another poor game may see him dropped. However this may be the week of the Willo as i think he is a pretty good player especially marking wise.

Last night's changes were exactly what I predicted,

I have said it several times but you may not have noticed. His hardness at the ball is quality, we haven't seen that for the last two weeks. The thing that we have noticed about Rup is his kicking. He has had 5 kicks in the last two weeks and thay have all been registered as clangers. Collingwood has huge depth like 2002, and if you play a bad game your out, he hasn't earned his spot after some poor recent form.

Andrew Williams has only had one good game after Rnd 3.
Brenton Cowell, you must be dissapointed that he is not out of the side this week for Heath Scotland

If Willo doesn't improve his game, he should be dropped for Scotland. I don't see how Scotland doesn't get in and McKee & Walker does.

They play different positions.
Willo should have been dropped and rupe kept in, but rupe has had a shocking 3 weeks. Willo has had at least 1 good game in that period.

I watched the game last week and your favourite player didn't do much. He did a couple of good things and spent the rest of the night on the bench.
 
Who;s fault is that he is like McGough, lacks oppurtunity its hard to get into the game comming on and off the bench all night

So much for 4 clangers in a match were he had around 5 touches.
It was a **** performance Statman.

like I said it is hard for players who come on and off the bench a 100 times a game to get into the game,
