They need to be in that divi
Simple as that
Would finish last in eastern

If they're a viable club then a change of scenery may help Ashwood.

Division 4 comp is an interesting one with two clubs potentially returning from recess. It may be that one or both of them doesn't get the numbers during preseason that were planned. Hopefully next season can be determined by wins and percentage rather than match ratios, 18 games are played and its as even a comp as this year.

I would say a D4 Southern club would be lucky to win a game in D4 Eastern. It’s a shocking standard and Ashwood, bottom team in D3, must be that standard.

If I were them then on the face of it I would not move to the EFNL as it’s a far stronger league at the lower levels and you could be setting yourself up for a winless season that could really hurt the club.

Scoresby vs Donvale this week match of the round - looks like both teams are pretty close to full strength apart from Haig missing.

Just missing Haig, Pell And Zalac from there best 22.
Haig and Pell coming back this week through the 2s. Zalac is back full training after a knee injury. Will be back probably next week. Murphy back this week after pulling out last week

Doncaster are officially back👍

No they're not.
Sorry to be a debbie downer, the 'club statement' said absolutely nothing concrete.
Some announcements to be made in the future, and a link asking people to fill out a link for volunteers/players. Do you know anything except having read that useless statement?
Until i see a official EFNL announcement, I won't believe anything. This is the same club who led everyone to believe they'd get two sides up the whole pre season just to pull out around practice match time.

To go from nothing to two sides is going to take a huge effort. But with 0 juniors/no 19's they are going to really battle, which leads me to think they are going to have to spend to get themselves out of this hole. Unless the EFNL gives them points relief in div 4 (no 1 pointers unless haven't played a higher standard or juniors, correct me if im wrong) they will struggle mightily.

Donvale juniors look to be dead. one u16 side combined with norwood who look to be on a downward spiral themselves. Concerning times for EFNL.

Doncaster will have 1 point players.
A reduction of 1 point for each year spent at the club will certainly assist returning players. Example - Annakis would be 1pt if he was to return.

The points system will be interesting for any returning clubs.

As they should be have to remember it wasn’t the players choice to move clubs the choice was made for them when they folded so if they return they should be a one pointer but also if they were a 3-4 pointer as they just moved there then they shouldn’t be converted to a 1 pointer they should just resume with the player point they are up to! Still needs to be fair whilst also helping them come back!!! Let’s not forget the rumours are they are coming back into division 4 if they get even 10-13 division 1 senior players back it’s the easiest premiership of all time for them!

Took Donvale 3? Seasons to win div 4.

Seemed the last 5 or so years players would leave there club to go play a higher division at Doncaster. With them being in div 4 Now there either below or in the same division so I’m not sure why anyone would go there.

Interesting. Has annakis got anything left? Or time to coach?

If the rumours were true about how some of the players were treated and threatened by the committee when players realised they were struggling for numbers earlier this year I doubt many would return. Would have to recruit heavily. Signed co-coaches one who is coaching at Pascoe vale and other Ashwood. Wonder if they will bring some players across?

That’s what co-coaches smells like to me. Do any clubs have this setup? It looks like something you’d do because both could bring a load of players with them to make a club. Two better than one in that regard.

Only way Ashwood can get into EFNL it seems. Strange club to keep changing their mind of transferring leagues

Shep bears have it. One player one non player

Albury Tigers - Ryan Garthwaite & Max Lynch Co coach.
Is this a way around the salary cap? X amount to coach, Y amount to play?? Unsure how that works.
