Knowing the Sharks, they're going to lose to Gold Coast by a Golden Point.

How good is it?

Copping it from all quarters here from Panthers supporting family. Not bothered

What a win! Grant is such a crafty player, great way to win it

I was MCing trivia - I know he’s not the first and certainly won’t be the last but it was Grant that took the dive wasn’t it?

I have no problem with Melbourne they front up game after game and year after year but I cannot stand seeing that bullshit: and yes my team has players who do it. Angus Crichton is a prime example.

N. Cleary real unhappy about it

Does he know the Rules?

Does he know the Rules?

That’s a fair point but if that’s how they’re written and interpreted that needs a rethink if a player tries to take the long way around to get a penalty and the same rule doesn’t really get policed the same way for a normal kick.

For what it’s worth it also serves Mitch Kenny right for trying to blatantly pass the ball into a Melbourne player for no other reason than to earn a penalty

Any player is going to be salty after that, clearly a bit emotional.

Grant flopped, straight A grade flopped. To the letter of the law it’s a penalty, it’s still going to be frustrating to lose a game off that.

It’s a tough one, I have the same issue with that penalty that I do with all the obstructions where the defender initiates contact with the decoy and makes no attempt to make a tackle.

I get they are trying to remove any grey area but in doing so it allows players to just game the system.

Grant disgraced himself tonight. I’m sorry I know they leave themselves open to it if they make a movement towards the player or whatever I get that. But the game is turning into all the things that it mocks soccer for. I cannot stand it. And as I said Kenny’s effort was just as blatant.

Harry Grant has been penalised for this a couple of time since they changed the interpretation
