NSW Scholarship players?

According to the draft and trading board we have none and Collingwood has six. Taylor Walker is about to set the world on fire with the Crows and Ranga Ediwickrama will push for a game with Geelong in his first year. And we don't have a single player. Is this right? Are we serious? Free players from Australia's most populous state and we can't be arsed?

To put it simply: Money talks.

They are 'free' players in that you don't have to draft them to get them but you still have to spend money on them. Apparently each scholarship holder costs clubs around $20k per year.

What I want to know is why aren't we spending such a piffling amount to potentially unearth a star we can draft with pick 90 - not that we ever have enough picks to last to pick 90. "Oh, but times are tight, we're cutting the footy budget," they cry, while signing Pettifer on for the equivalent of two years worth of six scholarships per year.

Harrison Lee is fat now and can't play for shit...not even worth our time. Couldn't even make the NSW U/18's. Is a pure rugby league player who got poached because of his amazing size as a 16 year old. Will never play AFL football

have you seen him play or are you basing it on him not making the nsw team?

I read elsewhere that he was playing reserves in SFL which if thats the case he's as close to playing league footy as finding a straight talking banker on Wall st right now

He is currently playing for Marcellin u19's.... has played a handful of senior games for them..... yes he is fat and he looked nothing special in a shit team when i saw him play a few weeks back....
