I think if he decides to leave he will just say SA rather than pick a club. But there will be a preference.
Question Mark What GIF by MOODMAN

While I read this
Port have becrap in 2025.
Crows sit top
Previous past years crows havnt made finals since 2017 .
We have made multiple final.
However if Nas does pick the crows
Does our club have a plan B

crows have always been balls deep in this. Its no surprise they have allegedly become front runners

The only information that journos are using which have the Crows at the front of the queue, is coming directly from the Crows camp.

It may very well be true, but if you asked Port about him you'd get a similar response about being very confident in their pitch.

We will find out soon enough, but until it comes from Ben Williams, it's all pure speculation.

Port really only has themselves to blame for the predicament they are in if they fail to get Nas in the event he does indeed request a trade back to SA.

Getting belted by 90+ points multiple times throughout the year and throwing the cue in the rack when the going gets though followed by the amount of injuries and never fielding their best possible team once this year with the closest being against Brisbane and that lasted less than a quarter.

Not to mention, their inability to stick a tackle and still looking like boys against men as well as their finishing in last quarters and then comes the whole issue of the succession plan and giving Ken the long goodbye.

If you honestly analyse Port this year, many players have either regressed or stagnated in their development. Only a few players have improved.

In other words, nobody knows. Including you.

How many times does it need to be repeated? We didn't spend a first round pick in Lachie Jones. He was an NGA bid match. And anyone that thinks we wasted our 2020 first round pick is a ****ing moron because we traded it into 2019 to select Mitch Georgiades.
Ok. Thanks fellow moron.

The point is that he was considered a "first-round" selection, whether we used a first round pick or not, that's where he was selected. In a similar way that Mead was a "second-round" selection. If Jones is considered a first-round selection, then I'd be happy to give up five of him to get NWM.

I've never said to know NWM's intentions, ever. I have consistently said nobody will know until Ben Williams calls the three teams and informs them of NWM's decision. Until then, it's all speculation.

Ralph gave the game away when he said the 'Crows are confident' they can secure him.

The use of the word 'can' instead of 'will' was an interseting choice.

Obvious the Newscorp circle jerk is based on information sourced from the Crows: the information might be correct but, the source is important and your point in 100% right.

I don't think our current predicament will faze NWM. He's got to be smart enough to look beyond this year and take in what the next 10 years looks like. He can be part of something here with a new coach and a young list that includes two mates he went through under age footy with. Crows satisfying Saints in a trade shouldn't come into it. It will be his call.

Why would he go to the Crows where Rankine would possibly outshine him, amongst others. When he could play with his best mates and help rebuild a club that has meaning. It doesnt make sense. I'm confident he wont be playing for the Crows. Im 80% he'll stay with Saints.

I'd be surprised if he stays at the Saints. He has had ample time and opportunity to declare it. He knows what their coaching and playing system looks like. If he was going to announce it, doing so immediately after the Melbourne win would have been the time.

Maybe caro dropping the stuff about tex and the crows has worked against us.. brought them back into calculations.. let them understand his concerns and then address them.. whereas they may not have even been aware

Whats funny about this, the Crows may be dropping the eye off right now and concentrating on whats important.
Could be other teams around like Geelong and Hawthorn sniffing a flag.
