Two firsts, Whitlock for NWM and a 2nd and a 3rd

All futures

Think a more realistic scenario would be Whitlock, a future 1st and a current 2nd for NWM straight up.

Whitlock was highly, highly rated at Port 12 months ago, and I've seen no reason why he wouldn't still be rated that way by the Club. He certainly wouldn't be any sort of steak knives in the deal that's for sure.

With Max King having knee issues, you would think they have asked for Whitlock as part of trade negotiations.

Also we must know Dougie is coming, followed by Pilot the year after. With MG, Luko and Marshall, losing Whitlock is not a disaster at all. Actually smart list management.
sPot on, they may know already the Cochrane status and with Pilot in train , it has logic. However the loss of Whitlock still hurts but NWM was never coming cheaply.

Perhaps Whitlock involved also means port are also grabbing Keeler with Nas. He's a forward and ruck that's distant cousin with Nas and close plus from SA. Young too.

If a raw KPF taken at pick 30 something is what moves the needle for St. Kilda you are doing it every day of the week, I really like Whitlock but getting the hairs rising up ya skirt over this is absurd particularly with our track record developing KPFs.
Yep if it’s Whitlock, 25 2nd and 26 first, or Whitlock, 26 and 27 first with a 26 2nd coming back I’m doing it every day

At this stage Whitlock is nothing more than an unproven second round pick raw tall. History suggests he's about a 50% chance to even end up better than Ollie Lord, let alone end up a star. If Whitlock is the key to unlocking an NWM deal I'll pack his bags for him and drive him to the airport.
